I am planning a honeymoon for early January or late December. Most of our budget has been spent on the wedding so we don’t have too much left for the honeymoon. We would still like to go somewhere outside of the US. Any advice on locations, resorts, itineraries, or any cost saving tips would be apprecitated.

Can someone please tell me where I can obtain a Destination Wedding Planning Guide that includes budget planning and other important tools to help make planning a destination wedding easy.

There are plenty of good books just for this very thing. I picked up a book titled "Everything Destination Weddings" at Barnes and Noble. It gives tips on useful websites, info, budget planning, everything. Hope this helps.

I feel as though my fiance is being too uptight with his money and it’s really making me feel very uncomfortable. I understand he wants to save it for our first home & so do I. But this is our first wedding and he’s really uptight with the budget and planning. He doesn’t even wants to have a videographer and he basically wants to do everything on his own. Such as the photography, videography, cake, flowers, etc. I tried to compromise by making the flower on our own but he keeps complaining how much this wedding is costing him. My parent is willing to pay for the videographer and his parent is willing to pay for the photographer but he seems to keep complaining how much this wedding is costing him even when people are offering to help out. I asked if he really wants to get married to me and he said "YES" but sometimes I feel like I don’t want to get married to him because I can’t stand it anymore . The wedding is no more than 25K.
What should I do? I told him how I feel already.

My wedding was 12,000.00 it was a lot for me.But I paid for almost everything. It was a whole year of savings.
I know that weddings here in US can be very expensive. that’s why I got married in PR.

I think that 25,000.00 is a fair amount of money for a nice wedding in US. So you should talk to him about it. And let him know that’s is just that expensive, that you are working on try to find the best deals, but is still going to cost money. I know that for man is hard to understand how much money you need to spend to have a nice wedding.

If you and your fiancee have the money to pay for the wedding and for the house it shouldn’t be a problem.

Now if you guys are in a tight budget I think owning a home should be your priority.
My husband and I bought our condo 1 month before the wedding and we just came from our honeymoon and we are starting to calculate how much money we need to fix and buy things for the house and believe me you need a lot of money to make the house cozy. So we re still working on that.

So be wise and make the right choices!!!

try theknot.com it will help alot. if a friend or family member has a nice yard have the wedding there. Do the centerpieces at the tables and the flowers yourself
